Say goodbye to fine lines and wrinkles and hello to a revitalised and glowing complexion with our facial contour treatments. A biological gel that’s applied into your skin, this treatment can help sculpt and contour your facial features for a more refined and volumised complexion.

Collagen is a vital protein that is responsible for skin elasticity. But when we reach our mid-20s, our body’s ability to produce collagen rapidly declines, meaning our skin begins to sag and fine lines and wrinkles appear. By gently restoring your facial structure with dermal cosmetics, we’re able to turn back the clock on ageing skin, redefine your features, improve skin hydration, decrease dark under-eye wrinkles and enhance shallow areas of your face. The result? A fresh, soft and rejuvenated appearance.

Minimally invasive and cost-effective, our team of skilled doctor-led and registered nurses offer the best treatments in Brisbane.

Before we begin the process, our staff will provide you with a comprehensive consultation, map out a treatment plan and discuss procedure aftercare practices.

Our friendly team will go above and beyond to ensure you’re comfortable and relaxed throughout the entire experience. That’s why we like to take our time, with each appointment usually lasting around 30-60 mins. It’s extremely important to us that you’re satisfied with your results. We want you to feel confident, and ready to reveal your radiance to the world.

Book your appointment for facial contouring in Brisbane online today. If you would like more information about dermal cosmetics or other treatments we offer, get in touch with our friendly team, and we’ll get back to you shortly.

What You Can Achieve With Facial Contouring

Cheeks are the foundation of the face. Restore your cheeks to their previous state or get those defined cheeks without any make-up. Our cheeks lose bone & fat volume as we age, so cheek treatment is perfect for restoring a sagging mid face and making the whole face looked refreshed. We keep to a tue-to-you look & don’t do golf ball cheeks.

Facial Contouring FAQ & Details

Bruising is the most common side effect for dermal treatments involving needles and cannulas. Some areas like chin, nose, tear trough and lips have a higher chance of bruising. Swelling will happen to most people after these treatments and is worst in the lips. Infection is extremely rare but possible since we are breaking the outer layer of skin. As everyone’s anatomy is different there is always a small risk of asymmetry. Many people will notice a pre-existing asymmetry due to increased attention & focus on the area. These can be easily corrected on review with your injector. Vascular occlusion is the most serious complication but is extremely rare (less than 100,000 to 1).

Individual results & longevity of treatments will vary a lot from person to person. This again is due to our unique anatomy and physiology. We use high quality and long-lasting products with a proven record of safety. The biggest factor in determining how long a treatment lasts is the areas being treated and the pressure or forces over that area. Lips will last 6-12 months for most people. Chin & cheeks will last 9-24 months for most; tear troughs (under-eyes) may last more than 3 years.

Most clinics market their filler options according to how thin or thick it is. The thickness of a product determines how much volume it gives & how firm it is (allowing it to support more pressure).  Thickness of the product does not necessarily predict how long it will last. Tear trough product is one of the thinnest available yet lasts the longest.

If you have only booked for a consultation we may not have enough time to treat you. After your consultation we will book in for your treatment for another day when we have enough time to give you all of our attention.

Unwanted spread or migration of product is caused by muscle movement & pressure over time. It is fairly common with some areas like lips. Migration can cause lumps, puffiness, asymmetry, and blurring of the lip border. If you have migration we can dissolve it for you. We have to wait at least 4 weeks before retreating that area again. Spot dissolving is $180 (eg. small bumps) or $300 for a full dissolve.

Most dermal procedures have little down-time, so you can get straight back to your day. Some areas like lips may be initially quite swollen. This will be noticeable straight after the procedure and last 2-5 days before fading & looking nice & subtle. Bruising is possible for all treatments so please keep this in mind. The areas treated will be tender for 1 to 3 days afterwards.

Dermal products and wrinkle treatments are distinct cosmetic procedures with different mechanisms and purposes. Dermal products, usually containing substances like hyaluronic acid, are used to add volume, smooth lines, and enhance facial contours. They are commonly employed to address areas that have lost volume due to ageing.

On the other hand, wrinkle treatments typically involve toxin substances. These products temporarily relax muscles, reducing the appearance of dynamic wrinkles caused by repetitive facial movements.

While both procedures contribute to facial rejuvenation, they target different aspects of the ageing process and are often used in combination for comprehensive facial enhancement. It’s essential to consult with a qualified practitioner to determine the most suitable treatment plan based on individual goals and concerns.

Any of these treatments can cause bruising and swelling, especially in the jaw and lips. You can expect it to be at its worst about one day after treatment. To reduce the risk of bruising, regularly apply ice or cold packs to the affected area. We also recommend avoiding vigorous exercise for at least two days after treatment as it can shorten the lifespan of the gel. Steering clear of alcohol, direct sunlight, fish oils, ibuprofen and aspirin after dermal cosmetic procedures will also ensure bruising does not worsen over time.

If you’re hoping to combat signs of ageing or slow the process down entirely, we recommend beginning dermal treatments in your mid-20s. Around this time, your body’s natural production of collagen begins to slowly decline, meaning your skin loses its elasticity and buoyancy. By starting earlier in life, you’ll require less product than if you wait until your mid-50s to start using dermal cosmetics.

The cost varies depending on what facial area we treat. More complex areas have a higher price.

Due to advertising restrictions we are not able to openly disclose prices. Please get in touch with our clinic for pricing information.

To ensure you achieve beautiful results you’re 100% satisfied with, we like to take our time. First, we offer a full assessment, design a treatment plan with you and then begin the process. Most appointments for facial contour treatments take about 40 minutes, however for multiple treatment areas it may take up to 90 minutes.
